Daylight Savings Time

We just had our leap day. I was thinking “a whole extra day! Woooie! I can do a lot with that.” I can get a day’s worth of laundry done. I can reorganize the kitchen so that the plates are not above the dishwasher so that I don’t have to stretch to move them from the dishwasher to the cupboard. Yeah, I know you’re thinking that it was stupid to put them there in the first place but they were put there when our kids were small enough that letting them reach breakable plates was a bad idea. You know how things are, once kids exist, stuff like that doesn’t get moved except on leap years!

Time Portals

I’m not here. I don’t mean that I’m not here in the sense that I the author of this (currently) Billy Goat GRUFF! blog am not physically at the site of the WordPress server nor that I am not physically in your room as you’re reading this nor even that I’m not at a computer as you’re reading this. I mean that I’m not signed on to WordPress at the time that this post will appear or has appeared. I say ‘will’ because as I’m typing this and even when I’m done typing this and am pressing the ‘publish’ button, this post will not be visible to you for some time. I say ‘has’ because when you my gentle reader(s) read this, it will already have appeared.

Password for the Previous Post

My previous post contains a swear word. Since some people are bothered by swear words, I figured a warning was in order. This is that warning. I didn’t want people to accidentally happen upon a swear word without forewarning. So, I password protected the post. But, I do want anyone who wants to read it to be able to.
