Three Times as Long

Exactly. Everything takes exactly three times as long when I haven’t had my coffee.OK. I don’t mean everything. If absolutely everything took exactly three times as long as when I’ve had my coffee, the effect of my coffee wouldn’t be observable. I don’t mean exactly either. I really mean I’m a bit slow before my coffee has seeped into my brain. So, if I were to say have a look at this picture before finishing my coffee, instead of immediately recognizing it for what it is, I’d stare blankly for a moment, focus on the feet, think they’re poking out of the screen, startle at the fact that there are feet poking out of the screen, remember how perspective works, realize that the feet aren’t poking out of the screen, relax and grin in slow motion over a period of three minutes instead of in the blink of an eye.

Work Satisfaction

I’m fairly busy with work. I’m enjoying it.

I’m spending a little time being silly on another site. I’m spending a little time writing emails. I’ve been messing about with our new printers. That’s not the sort of thing I can display here. I’ve been decidedly anti-social here. That will change sometime but I don’t know when. I’m not at all concerned about it either. I’ll probably get caught up in fun or I
