Sick Then Busy

Three days to write a post and this is all I can manage?What happened?

First Day of Classes

I had a sick child last night and I slept in this morning.

Working Sunday Night

Pathetic! I did work on Sunday night. I could have gone out to a bar and drank a bunch and made a fool of myself. I could have got a sitter and gone out on a hot date with my sweetie. I could have lazed about and read hundreds of pages of the fairly good book that I’m reading. I could have thought up something hilarious or even something slightly witty

Things Pertaining to Children

A little while ago, one of my children was sick. My theory is that it was chicken pox. My child had been vaccinated against the disease. So was the neighbour child. But, that child caught a very mild case of it: a total of ten pox. My child didn’t have any pox that I saw but then I wasn’t looking for them. I was simply tending to the illness.
