Memory
January 29, 2008 — Amoeboid Blurry SmileWhen I was small, I had a theory of memory. My theory was this. Memory is perfect. It fit well with some of my other theories. I thought that I was perfect and I had a memory. Other people shared some of my properties though not all of them. They weren’t perfect but they did have memory. I automatically applied Occam’s razor and presumed there was just one kind of memory: perfect memory just like mine. Also, I had something that at the time I counted as supporting evidence. I remembered many things as they happened and I didn’t remember a single thing that I knew had not happened. The fact that I used my memory to check my memory didn’t bother me at all.
