Identities are a strange thing. When I started my previous internet identity I was thinking that I would simply mirror things that I’ve done elsewhere. Note the italicized word. It should be familiar. It now turns out that I didn’t copy what I thought I would copy. Instead, I’ve used the names to express an aspects of my personality.

That said, I also want to say something about disinformation. Sometimes I tell tales about myself and about people that I care about. I purposefully alter details of those tales. I do this because the possibility of finding myself sitting in front of a judge where evidence gathered from here and other places is presented. Now, that doesn’t mean I’m purposefully doing anything illegal. It also doesn’t mean that I’m trying to harm anyone. In fact, I’m not aware of any laws that I’m breaking. That might even mean that I’m not breaking any laws. Also, I’m mostly harmless. Anyway, I suspect that the NSA keeps careful track of everything that I post here. I suspect they keep track of the fact that you visited here. Anyway, it could show up in a court of law sometime. Now, the fact that some of the things I’ve said on here are made up or changed in essential ways means that this stuff is a particularly poor source of evidence. So, I imagine saying to a judge something like: “How did you get your evidence? Seriously! You read something I posted to the net and you believe it?”

I doubt the defense would work. I put the disinformation in because it helps me maintain the fantasy.
